experience recurrent and unexpected panic attacks. Panic attacks are periods of intense and overwhelming fear or anxiety which lead to persistent concern about future panic attacks and/or changes in behaviour to avoid having panic attacks.
Here are some symptoms of panic attack:
- Pounding heart
- Sweating
- Trembling/ shaking
- Shortness of breath
- Feelings of choking
- Chest pain/ discomfort
- Nausea
- Feeling dizzy
- Chills or heat sensation
- Numbness or tingling sensations
- Fear of “going crazy” or “losing control”
- Fear of dying
- Feeling of being detached from reality
